Editing

It is easier if a manuscript is edited before becoming a published book.  That said, it is not impossible for a book to be edited after it has already been published and printed.  The publisher may require a small fee to reset the book after editing has been done.   Often times, a book has come to EBP that has misspellings or punctuation errors every few pages, even though the author has gone over the text many times looking for errors.  Nothing stops a book faster with reviewers than poor writing or punctuation.  Epic Book Promotions offers editing with a book being read twice.  Grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure are included in the editing.  Changes will only be made with author approval.

Publishing

Epic Book Promotions can arrange quality publishing for authors who are still in the beginning stages of getting their work out.   This allows for editing to easily be done before the pages are printed.  A reasonable retail price will be assigned to published books making them more desirable to readers and not pricing them out of the market.  Few readers are going to pay $21.95 plus shipping and handling for an unheard of author.

Book Cover and Web Site Design

A book’s title and its cover are the most important ways of getting a buyer’s attention.  EBP’s sources create covers with impressive professional imagery.  Websites can also be designed and maintained.

Advertising

A great way to get readers aware of recently published books is through advertising placed with the right media outlet.   Fees vary dramatically, depending on the source, ad size and placement.  Cost can be anywhere from $100 to $1,000 to $10,000. It is a good idea to seriously consider advertising your book.  EBP will research media outlets where you can advertise your book for an initial fee of $75, plus the cost of ad creation and advertising space.

Purchased Reviews

Some literary venues write and post reviews of books for a fee.  This is one way of making sure that a book receives a review and a write-up is posted on a literary site.  Also, paying for one or two reviews speeds up the process and may be what gets your work noticed by reviewers and editors.  Fees vary and seem to average between $75 and $250.

Literary Contests

Literary publications and Internet sites often have contests in which writers may enter, exposing them to readers and other writers.  For authors whose writing qualifies, EBP will search out contests and enter their work.  Requirements and the amount of work for each contest vary.   A fee of $125 per 5 submissions is required.

Radio/Television Show Placement

Radio and television programs are always looking for new subjects to feature.  Epic Book Promotions can help to get you and your book in front of the eyes of many show producers.  EBP has a relationship with Mike Elsesser, a successful promoter who has represented authors and field specialists, getting interviews and air time on television and radio programs.  Prices vary depending on how much time and work is involved.

Additional Submissions

The book review package material created at EBP is yours to do with as you please.  This means that you can send a package out to anyone of your choice. 

EBP will be more than happy to assemble and send out additional packages for a cost of $100 per 5 submissions.

Press Release Only

Many authors choose to handle the promotion of their book themselves, but are not sure about putting together a press release.  EBP will create one for you after reading the text for a cost of $125.
