Strategically placed advertising and direct sales are best for getting an author’s book into the hands of the book buying public. Direct sales eliminate the headaches of returned books from bookstores, thus allowing the author to retain a much higher profit from book sales.

Using direct mail advertising is time efficient and cost effective. In this arena, two companies have been able to meet the criteria by being both professional and affordable: MailersHaven and Expedite.

 

 

MailersHaven provides specific targeted "lists" of addresses for a fee. These lists are made up of appropriate book enthusiasts who order by mail. Expedite will assist by providing ads created by graphic designer Ryan Ratliff which features your book, along with others. Then, by using the lists of purchased addresses, the ads are sent to interested book buyers.

Along with the 2000 mailers being distributed, our new web site will include a picture of your book and ordering information, making it simple and easy for customers to make their purchases. After orders are taken for your book(s), you will receive payment for the retail price of your book, less printing fees (for POD books) if appropriate, and a 10% processing commission to EBP. A quarterly report and payment will be sent to you, if there are sales of your book.
